Sunning Hyena

Contrary to popular belief, not all of Africa is hot. While it doesn't get downright cold very often, in many areas it can be pretty brisk in the fall. As is quite evident, this male hyena has discovered how good a sun-warmed rock can feel against the flesh on a chilly day.
