6 Kinsey Circle has a very unusual family... Join patriarch Paulie, his husband Douglas, college kid Marty, actor Taye, gigalo Ken, and artist Arthur for a look at life... slightly bent.

Based in Boston, Massachusetts from Winter 2000 to Winter 2001, the Circles house has its own special slice of life. Watch Marty and Taye fall in love, Ken learn a bit about relationships, and Doug learn to deal with the ghosts of his past which he's imagined up for himself.

Issue #1 sold out in record time, and issues 2-4 are getting rare. Volume One covers issues 0 through 4 and includes the color covers of each on the back cover.

Customer's Reviews for Circles Volume 1: It Seems Like I've Been Here Before - Collects Issues 1, 2, 3, and 4 by Andrew French, Scott Fabianek, Steve Domanski

Insanely Happy Customer
Hey, Circles is fantastic for something in this genre, can't say I know where I personally stand in that era but I can't say I haven't had my share of experiences in that era either but great story despite my own undecided preference on the issue.
I could only see one issue because I'm not exactly an open person but that doesn't mean I can't tell you how much I liked it. I hate to say that I think I know how it ends...don't make it to hard even though I don't think I'll get to know for sure.
But even in that I can honestly say that it is one of the best things I've ever read, seen, and experienced. It has actually given me an idea of how to draw and give the pictures a flow while making as many as possible, if I have an hour a day "Unlikely" I could have a picture a day.
Anyways to Andy, Scott, and Steve you've done a great job and inspired, enlightened, and even made my little problem easier to handle so finish it up and hopefully consider doing something else once your finnished, but don't let it get in the way of life most importantly. See ya.

Both beautiful and moving
This is certainly one of the more moving pieces of comics that I've read in my years. A very intriguing subject, fabulously laid-out. The stories feel very natural, and the characters' struggles are so authentic that they truly feel like a slice of real life. Whether you're gay or not, this is a true gem of a book of a subject still so sensitive. And might I add, the art is wonderful, realistic yet expressive. My sincerest thanks to the makers of this wonderful comic.

Amazing
The title of the comment says it all, this is an amazing book, but I am sad if what I read is true and the series is no longer being made. [EDIT - The series is being continued. There have never been any plans to discontinue circles. Good things come to those who wait. Circles is a good story written and drawn by very talented people who have rather busy day jobs. It is our intention to continue publishing Circles until the creators say differently.]

Definitely one for the bookshelf
I ordered this for myself on my birthday this year, and it arrived in just over a week - and boy am I glad it did! Let's do some math here: Each issue of Circles is $5. Well this paperback has the four issues, plus the preview issue, plus a short story written for a conbook, plus a whole bunch of sketchbook-type stuff thrown in between the stories, all for LESS than the price of the four issues alone! Now that I'm done sounding like an infomercial, I gotta say that I read through this whole thing in two sittings (would've been one if I didn't have to go off and do stuff for whatever reason). And I'm in the middle of reading it again as issues 5 and 6 make their way into my mailbox. And when I'm not reading this, it sits right on my bookshelf - yes, a gay furry comic being publicly displayed in my own room! It's just that good! You will not be disappointed if you get this.
