Integrating Rabbit Valley on Your Website
Now you can put Rabbit Valley product directories on your website. This is a great way to promote your products and help the furry community find nifty stuff to buy. You will need a basic knowledge of HTML as well as an understanding of how URLs work to continue.
- Visit the website at https://www.rabbitvalley.com/ and surf to the directory you want to put on your website. For this example, we'll use the Circles comic directory.
- Examine the URL of the directory. In this case, the directory is: https://www.rabbitvalley.com/department_3109_0_0.html . Take note of the number in the URL, in this case, 3109. You will need this number in step 3.
- Place the following code on your web site where you wish the directory to appear. Replace the number 3109 with the number you found in step 2.
Standard Directory Listing with Normal Directory Icons
Directory Listing with Product Thumbnails
Customize the size of your thumbnails
If you want larger thumbnails for sample prints, you can specify the maximum height and width in the following code. https://www.rabbitvalley.com/department_embeded_thumbnail_3109_150_150.js is the format of the URL. The first number after the directory number is the maximum width. The second number is the maximum height.
The colors that you use on your page may effect the look and feel of the site. We recommend using a standard white background and black text both for readability and for the icons to appear correctly. You may want to change the table to have a white background and white border. To change the colors or fonts, we recommend using a CSS style sheet. This will require advanced HTML programming beyond the scope of this document. Please contact customer service if you need help with this.
If everything works as planned, you should see results like the following!
