I had long ago learned that I hated doing comics but I was determined to see this one through to the end. I can't remember who talked me into it, damn them... All said it took me some 18 months to do this and wherever there was time to do things right in regards to planning, workflow, etc. I did it completely wrong. I penciled the rough layouts all at once, and that was probably all I did right. The inks, colors, text, etc. I did all per page instead of doing the whole thing in stages of production. As a result it is wildly inconsistent from page to page.

Always waking up with a sad expression and finding herself stuck in a dead-end job, Samantha tries to find her self-identity as well as a suitable companion. Every club night, she dresses up in punk/gothic attire that completely hides who she really is just to try to find a social group that would accept her for her hybrid features. One night, she manages to find a unique group of anarchist punks containing a foul-mouth and violent British feline, a levelheaded Egyptian canine, a closed-mouth white feline, a large-tailed skunk and a perverted, drunken mouse. Being accepted into the group and given an off-colored nickname, she finds herself doing activities that she never thought she was capable of. She quickly falls in love with one of the punks in the group, and tries to get his attention by wearing suggestive clothing while still trying to act like she has no interest in him. Very slowly, she starts to lose her identity and her life spirals downhill when the mix of love and hate starts to mold her into something she is not. Her new self-image puts an emotional toll on her only friend who tries to help Samantha find the identity that she once lost, only to find secrets that should have been left alone.

Ookami Kemono’s first graphic novel tells the story of love, trust, secrets, self-identity and why mice should not drink beer and look at porn at the same time…

	From Sofawolf's Website:

	Nordguard—Book One: Across Thin Ice

Collected Rabbit Valley® Comics featuring KaputOtter at a discounted rate!

This collection includes Spooo Presents Issue #3 - Service with a Smile / Big Bad Wolf Club #1 & Webz Magazine Issue #1.

Spooo Presents Issue #3: It's our "My Job Sucks" issue of Spooo Presents!

Story #1, The Big Bad Wolf Club by Quel and Josef Katz. When your life has you down, and work sucks, sometimes you just need a co-worker with a penchant for pyro to BURN THE PLACE DOWN! As our hero ponders coffee and warms himself from the flames of the Hellofaboring Jobs Accounting Firm, he spots a sign at the BBWC: "Now Hiring: PREY." See how his interview goes.

Story #2: Service with a Smile by Kaput. Our hero is a kitty working at HickDonald's on the night shift. It just happens to be his break time when two very large, very tasty men come in the front door. Smoke break anyone?

	Webz Magazine Issue #1

Our long time friend and artist KaputOtter presents to you a tale of two seasons. For the summertime, water loving critters, we have Suddenly, Otters! with the most friendly of clothing optional beaches and clothing optional critters. Second, cool off with a story of wintertime wrap-up in Les Bonnes Vacances where a polar bear and his hired domestic domestics get their end of season bonus.

This comic has fun in the sun and lots of winter sports action. Our printing company representative offhandedly remarked "Oh, A Sea Otter Orgy...".

	Yeah, it's kinda like that.

Special Note: These book is presented in a flip book style. For proper display of the comic, we highly recommend purchasing two copies.

Description: The City of Ice is a harsh place, a barren planet with no laws, only criminals. Jack Salem is a harsh person, and wouldn't follow those laws anyway, but when offered the right incentives, he can be a powerful tool.

But getting a hippopotamus across the barren wasteland of the city without being killed by all the hungry crazies between Jack and where he needs to go? That may be too much to ask.

Yes, it's just another semester at "Hot Fudge U.," where the sex is as hot and easy as a day at the beach. Vaxy and his friends have most of another year to go before they have to worry about that "real world" thing they've heard about.

Inside the Cage takes place at the Jackal's Staff where a young cougar seeks to escape his life of prostitution. Illustrated by Vince Suzukawa.

The Prisoner's Release previously appeared in Heat #1 and Heat #2 and tells the story of how Volle met Streak. The illustrations done by Taurin Fox for Heat are reprinted here.

Home Again picks up just after "The Prisoner's Release" when Volle and Streak have returned Ferrenis and fills in some details leading up to their ill-fated return to Tephos in "Pendant of Fortune." Adam Wan provides a single stunning illustration for this short story.

Finally we return to the Jackal's Staff in For Love or Family, this time through the eyes of a patron trying to balance the way he feels against the duties of his station. Arthur Husky provides the illustrations.

The Prisoner's Release is a romance novel intended for an adult audience only and contains some explicit sexual scenes of a primarily Male/Male nature. It is not for sale to persons under the age of 18.

Food and cooking are a recurring theme in several of the stories, comics and poetry in this issue. So pour yourself a nice stiff drink and cozy up with our magazine that proves variety is indeed the spice of life.
Our Family of Farm Products is an amusing tale by Kyell Gold of two brothers coming of age in a bizarre world where old-fashioned farming meets space-age technology. Just what would a milking robot look like? Jonas' illustrations provide the answer. You may never look at a glass of milk the same way again!
Shark is Leo Magna's second comic for Heat and our magazine's first story about women who like women. In a tale of predatory desire and enticement, it's not always a shark's teeth that you have to watch out for.
Spiced Foxes marks Sheela Ardrian's return to our pages with a poem about love in the kitchen, where improvisation is preferred and recipes need not be followed to the letter. Lurid provides illustrations to match the poem's light and playful tone.
Danang Heat is a dark, sweltering tale by Patrick "Bahumat" Rochefort about fantasy and deception in the steamy jungles of Vietnam, where enjoying another man's company is a risk some soldiers are willing to take. AlumaSquirrel's illustrations give the reader a peek at what goes on in the shadows.
Sonnet XVIII, William Shakespeare's poem about timeless beauty, gets a classy and classical interpretation by Leo Magna
Lapping the Competition, Adam Wan's first comic to appear in print, is a story about love, misunderstanding and reconciliation between two young men in college. Their housemates help smooth things over, but...hey! Watch the stove!
Missing rounds out this issue with a coming-of-age tale quite different from the first. Through a series of narrative sketches that move backwards and forwards in time, Scout McIntyger describes his own path to discovering who he really is. Eric "Bayson" Hunter's illustrations are sketches themselves, depicting a life that is a continual work in progress.
And, as is our tradition, we leave just enough room to sneak in a bit of naughty doggie refrigerator poetry.

Prehistoric, a story by Tym, illustrated by Foxfeather R. Zenkova, brings predator and prey together in an ice-age drama that leads a dire wolf to reconsider his pack’s expectations and taboos.
Sated, a poem by Frost wolf, illustrated by Blotch, also explores predator-prey relationships, but in a more contemporary and unexpected setting.
At a Glance is a story by Rechan, illustrated by Heather Bruton, in which a pas de deux combines with intrigue between the main character and his paramour to exchange secrets of a very intimate nature.
Talk With Your Mouth Full is a story by Kyell Gold, illustrated by Chibi-Marrow, in which creative uses of technology bring the main character to a new appreciation for a former relationship.
Kisses is a comic in which two of Angie Kae’s characters try something a little different from their usual routine in bed, with very happy results.
Dick and Jane, a story by foozzzball, illustrated by Autumn Sunrise, explores the relationship between humans and genetically-engineered animals, and the main character reconsiders the true nature of love via a string of exploratory relationships.
Vigil, a poem by Ekulf appears on the back cover so as to give the artist Kamui a chance to show off his eye for color. The surprise, in this case, is mere potential - the presumed reaction should those being watched learn that their private activities are not so private.

After more than a decade of peace the proud and noble kingdom of Valanor is suddenly torn apart by a terrible civil war. After 12 years, when the dust settles and resources start to dwindle, the starving people of Valanor cry out for peace, forcing the leaders of Tier, Sinnah, Daneth and Osgard to lay down their arms and meet each other at the negotiation table.

As each province prepares an envoy to find a diplomatic solution at the Kingdom's only neutral ground, an ancient and dark organization plots its return. Unbeknownst to the leaders of the four warring provinces this old enemy will stop at nothing to crush any hope of lasting peace.

Can the four envoys put their old hatreds aside and forge a bond of trust? Or will those that crave the blood and terror of war get their way?

Whatever the outcome, the fate of Valanor will be decided... at Bitter Lake.
