ISO Volume One

Cody is a freshman hoping to make a new start in college. A large, muscled tiger who seems constantly on edge, he is assigned to room with a flamboyantly energetic and self-confident Aussie wolf named Jake. Jake might irritate anyone, but he's especially irritating to Cody because he's openly bi, and Cody is still in the closet.

As Cody adjusts to life in college, he finds work at a bar, where he meets an attractive cougar and has to decide how to approach him. Jake and his friends always seem to be underfoot, and other mysterious characters take an unusual interest in Cody "including Jeff, the dorm handyman who has plenty of secrets of his own.

Vince Suzukawa brings the same realism and joy to this new story that readers of his earlier comic, "The Class Menagerie," will recognize. His characters are vivid and real, and in "i.s.o.," he takes on the touching story of sexual identity, relationships, and families, all with the same wry sense of humor and engaging art his fans have come to expect.

This first volume collects issues #1 - #5 of the previously published comics and also includes a totally new 32 page bonus story.
