COMPLEX CITY is a bi-monthly ongoing series from writer/artist/creator JE Smith. A sequel of sorts to Smith's previous series BULLETPROOF -- the humorous adventures of a modern-day superhero -- COMPLEX CITY widens the scope to include a variety of characters, such as ace tele-journalist Rebecca Shultz, respected scientist Dr. Martin Handsome, the mysterious figure known only as Crazy-Quilt, and, of course, the city's top cop, Inspector Bulldog Malone. CC weaves an intoxicating tapestry of weirdness -- life in this city isn't just complex, it's downright bizarre, and any resemblance to the planet inhabited by the reader is purely coincidental. |
