Gutwallow Issue #1 |
 |
gutwallow is a self-published black & white comic book written and drawn by me, Dan Berger, former writer/artist of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic books and daily comic strip. gutwallow is published once every two months and is currently available only through this web site and a few comic book specialty shops!
gutwallow is a fantasy comic book set 7,500 years in our past, done in the spirit of the popular syndicated television series Xena: Warrior Princess. Elements of both comedy and drama are found throughout the comic, and the main goal of the book is to be entertaining!
gutwallow himself is a magical gingerbread man, whose origin remains a mystery (for the reader at least... I know how he came to be... but that's a tale for later in the series =O). The comic deals with the gutty's adventures after he leaves the relative safety of his dungeon home, and how he comes to discover the outside world as well as himself. |
