The Rats make headway in their plans to capture the Seal of Iberion from the Trolls, while the hunt for the Trolls and the Seal turn out to be more difficult than expected for the Ravenwood cousins. Their own searches start uncovering some secrets about the Earl Hadge's trading city - secrets that the Earl cannot afford to come to light. Meanwhile, Pandora ends up in trouble of her own when an operation to gather information at a local tavern goes terribly wrong and she's left fighting for her life.
